At least the sun was shining over the Greek island of Kefalonia. If it seems like many years ago, it's because it was. Gah. (11 May 2006)
12pm: Realise it’s not raining, grab dog, cycle to village to buy milk and then around the lanes til the clouds get a little bit too grey.
1.30pm: Home. Lunch. Raining. Dog snoring.
4pm: Dog wakes up. Demands to be let out. Takes two steps, comes straight back in. Goes back to sleep.
5pm: As above.
6pm: As above.
6.30pm: As above.
6.45pm: As above.
Kefalonia looks very tempting today as I look out at the rain…..

Very cheering on a day that is relentlessly windy, intermittently wet and not at all warm for the time of year…
It was taken on the ferry heading over to Ithaca. I’d happily live on a boat anchored there, just for that view.
